'Demi wanted to get in with you if you were around,' Derülo recalls mutual friend telling him of Unbroken collabo.

For Demi Lovato's third studio album, Unbroken, she wanted to show fans that not only had she come back from a tough year, but she was feeling and sounding better than ever.

Lovato returned to the music scene by giving her pop sound more of an R&B flair, teaming up with acts like Timbaland and Missy Elliott, and getting a hand from pop/R&B star Jason Derülo.

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment today according to numerous reports. The UK singer was 27-year-old.

A press release from Metropolitan Police does not specify Winehouse by name, but reads

"Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05 hours today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.

On Monday, we learned the names of some of the stars set to appear on Songs For Japan, a compilation album to benefit the ongoing disaster relief efforts in the earthquake- and tsunami-ravaged nation. According to Billboard magazine, both artists are poised to cross a seemingly impossible barrier in the next month: one billion all-time YouTube views.

Gaga — who averaged almost 1.8 million views per day in September — is predicted to reach the milestone first at her current pace, around October 20. Bieber — with around 3.7 million views per day in September — will be close on her heels, with a predicted November 1 arrival at the mark.
