Billboard News : 20 Banned Album Covers (Part 3)

Billboard News : 20 Banned Album Covers
(Part 3)

10. Artist: Lynyrd Skynyrd
Album: Street Survivors
Release Date: Oct. 17, 1977
Less than a week after the "Street Survivors" release, Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane crashed, killing three band members and their manager. Out of respect, the cover was changed to an image of the band standing.

9. Artist: Roger Waters
Album: The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking
Release Date: May 7, 1984
In its original cover art, "Pros and Cons" depicted a woman trying to hitch a ride in nothing but a backpack and high heels. In later pressings, censors covered the woman's backside with a black box.

8. Artist: The Black Crowes
Album: Amorica
Release Date: Nov. 1, 1994
The original cover of the Black Crowes' third album was an American flag bikini - with pubic hair exposed. The band's label blacked out the bod, leaving a triangle of bikini. Instead of seeming lewd, the Crowes seem oddly.

7. Artist: David Bowie
Album: Diamond Dogs
Release Date: April 24, 1974
David Bowie was no stranger to controversy by 1974, but he saw more of it when he posed as a man-dog creature with its genitalia exposed on the cover of "Diamond Dogs." The cover was changed, with the genitalia.

6. Artist: Scorpions
Album: Lovedrive
Release Date: Feb. 25, 1979
Scorpions first ran into censorship trouble in 1976 with the cover for "Virgin Killer," and the band raised eyebrows again in 1979 with "Lovedrive," which depicted a man's hand attached to a woman's exposed breast.

*Sorry if there are inappropriate picture or include some nudity thing, I just want to share the information about the banned album because the foolish thing like that (nudity, violence, and something like that).
