Billboard News : 20 Banned Album Covers (Part 4)

Billboard News : 20 Banned Album Covers
(Part 4)

5. Artist: The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Album: Electric Ladyland
Release Date: Oct. 25, 1968
The cover for Jimi Hendrix's third and final studio album, "Electric Ladyland," featured a menagerie of naked women holding the record before Hendrix's label changed the cover for U.S. audiences only, replacing it

4. Artist: The Coup
Album: Party Music
Release Date: Nov. 6, 2001
Although the album cover was made before the attacks on September 11th, the politically-charged photo of the hip-hop duo behind the Twin Towers was banned. It was changed to a fiery cocktail glass for obvious reasons.

3. Artist: Guns N' Roses
Album: Appetite For Destruction
Release Date: July 21 1987
The original cover for the debut album by Guns N' Roses was a robot rapist causing havoc on the streets, but was soon changed to the now classic skull and cross bone cover

2. Artist: John Lennon
Album: Unfinished Music No. 1: Two Virgins
Release Date: Nov. 29, 1968
John Lennon's personal and musical experimentation during the late '60s can be attributed in part to his newfound love, Yoko Ono. The couple's album showed them nude, but a brown flap was placed over the record

1. Artist: Kanye West
Album: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Release Date: Nov. 22, 2010
The controversial artwork for West's highly anticipated album shows a naked creature straddling the rapper. Via Twitter, West expressed his frustration with his label's suggestion to change the artwork.

*Sorry if there are inappropriate picture or include some nudity thing, I just want to share the information about the banned album because the foolish thing like that (nudity, violence, and something like that).

The twenty artists are too creative, too creative and therefore out of context and has been out of bounds. It makes not a beauty or high art but a stupidity in a work, therefore it is definitely the work of their album covers banned.

Another controversy created by Kanye West. Looks like Mr. West was never bored to create controversy, after the controversy with Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West is now re-create controversy by making an album cover that is very vulgar and very inappropriate and very nudity. huh !!!.... The Mr. controversy.

Was expecting to see the classic Mom's Apple Pie covers in this list, but sadly, no. That one beats all of these!
