Deandre Brackensick - Only The Good Die Young
I think the genre like this is really suit for Deandre, but I don't know why I got bored when hear the performance by him goes to the end. In the beginning and till the middle, it still nice, but in theend part Deandre like doing nothing and just stay with nothing improvement. Just okay for me, but great song choice because the song is stuck in my head.
Erika Van Pelt - New York State of Mind
I think this performance much better than last week, but for me "The Edge of Glory" performance is still the best performance by her. Overall was good, nice and strong vocal performance, but I think lack of moment. This performance was good, but not easy to enjoy this performance and a little bit forgettable or maybe Erika had a trouble to making moments in her performance because last three performance the moment was not so strong than the other contestants. It cause her to be a forgettable contestant in my opinion. The memorable performance by her just only "The Edge of Glory". Must hard work more for Erika.
Joshua Ledet - She's Got A Way
The superstar contestant in last week battle, but in Top 10 Joshua star a little bit blur. This performance not a strong performance by him, there was moments, but not really lot. The moment that I can remember when the choir came out and Joshua pull everything he can do in that part. Overall still strong performance and this guy still a real contender to win this year American Idol.
Skylar Laine - Shameless
It was good, but I think Skylar didn't make any progression. After we saw her in the first live show when she gave an electric performance by jumping around like a crazy great singer, the performance by Skylar just good and never beat "Stay With Me" performance also feels same week after week. Definitely she nail every song that she sang and show her vocal ability, but c'mon Skylar pick a song can make you great and can make a memorable moment like Joshua and Jessica did. Skylar definitely can be the front runner in this competition, but I think so far she still in the middle of the group and it will affect bad to her if she keep doing like this in the competition and maybe she will left the competition immediately.
Elise Testone - Vienna
She getting better week after week and she more strong week after week. Watch out Jessica. Joshua and the rest of the contestants because this lady can kick every butt contestants in this season. The best performance by her so far in the competition. One of the strongest performances of the night too. Two weeks in the row, awesome performances by Elise!!...
Phillip Phillips - Movin' Out (Anthony Song)
Phillip also getting better week by week and if he keep give a progression, if he do that with consistent, watch out for Joshua and Jessica because Phillip can take the title too. It so pathetic when Phillip don't want take an advise from Tommie Hilfiger because I agree with that fashion stylish, Phillip need injection of superstar aura because Phillip looks on the stage like a poor guy trying to be a superstar, the style of Phillip so awful. C'mon Phillip take the advise, don't make American didn't vote you because your looks so awful and so poor, simple can be stylish too Phillip. Please be total package...
Hollie Cavanagh - Honesty
The bad performance of the night in my opinion and worry for her because I don't want her to leave the competition because she great and she has a capability to win this competition. If I see her go home, It will be a saddest part of this season. I can't enjoy the whole performance by her in this night. Everything feels bad, feels wrong, when she started miss the note and pitchy, goes to the end not getting better. Agree to the judge a lot of think and make the performance so stiff. Awful performance and bad performance by her so far in this competition.
Heejun Han - My Life
I love Heejun as personal, but the performance not really. Fun performance, but still not a strong performance. It quite interesting when he gave a twist in the beginning of his performance and very fun to watch and enjoy Heejun performance till the end. But I think he must take this competition more serious. He has a great voice and definitely can be an artist someday, but not ready yet and far behind from other competitor in this season. Heejun must explore more and find what artist that he wannabe, not just show the fun side, we already knows that Heejun is so funny person and now let the world know that you (Heejun) can sing with great too. Please Heejun give to the world amazing performance, please please, I'm begging you Heejun.... because if he didn't give a stunning performance next week, I really believe next week or two weeks later we must say goodbye to Heejun.
Jessica Sanchez - Everybody Has A Drean
Jessica Sancez return with thirsty of the spotlight. After last week performance not really great, this week Jessica comeback to the top of the group. Overall this is one of the best performances by her in my opinion. She sang with great, the message really spot on and deliver with really well. Great performance... Well done
Colton Dixon - Piano Man
He is the best performance in male group, but for the entire group the performance also strong and hard to pick the best one tonight. When Colton plays the piano in his performance, usually the performance will be great. Much better than last week and Colton close the show with amazing!!!.... beautiful performance, great job and well done... I think Colton more better be the artist like this than trying to be a rocker like last week, that just my opinion because when he sang "Piano Man" and "Fix You" both performances are great and both performances used piano also when he perform "Decode" he used Piano.
So... who the best performance in top 10? I have four strong performance and they are Elise Testone, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez and Colton Dixon. Jessica take the TOP 13 throne with "I Will Always Love You", Joshua take the Top 11 throne with "When A Man Loves A Woman" and for TOP 10 I will give to Colton Dixon with "Piano Man"
